Terms of Service
The agreement for using whatcal. Plain language, no surprises.
Last updated: 2026-06-09
By creating a whatcal account or using the whatcal bot, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they explain what whatcal does, what it doesn't promise, and how subscriptions work.
Using whatcal
You need an account to use whatcal, and you're responsible for keeping your login secure and for the activity under your account. You must be old enough to consent to a service like this in your country, and you agree to provide accurate information.
Estimates are not medical or nutritional advice
whatcal provides calorie and macro estimates for general awareness only. The numbers are AI-generated estimates expressed as ranges, not exact measurements, and they are not medical, dietary or nutritional advice. Do not rely on whatcal for medical decisions. If you have a health condition or specific dietary needs, consult a qualified professional.
How accuracy works
Because a photo can't reveal exact portion size, cooking oil or hidden ingredients, whatcal shows realistic ranges and may add uncertainty notes. We make a genuine effort to be useful and honest, but we don't guarantee that any estimate is exact, and you can always correct a meal on the dashboard.
Trial and subscriptions
whatcal offers a 7-day free trial (no card required) followed by a single Premium plan. The trial and Premium include Discord, Telegram, and WhatsApp. WhatsApp access is capacity-limited because it carries more cost and operational risk. Prices, limits and plan contents may change, and payments are handled by our payment processor. Unless required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
Acceptable use
When using whatcal, you agree not to:
- Use the service for anything unlawful, abusive, or harmful.
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Resell or redistribute the service without permission.
Availability and changes
whatcal depends on third-party platforms (Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp) and AI providers, which can change their rules or availability. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, whatcal is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using whatcal and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where whatcal operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms? Email whatcalapp@gmail.com.
